Shape-Shifters?
Old cemeteries are a source of endless fascination for me. As I wander among the aged stones I wonder about the lives of those buried there long ago.
Today, on a walk with my cousin, we explored an old cemetery tucked into the neighborhood, there was no indication on the road that it was there.
I was reminded of an incident that happened several years ago, I was alone taking photographs in a historic cemetery in Dallas.
I was startled by a woman's voice behind me, "If you're taking photos, you might want to look up. There are foxes in the trees."
I turned to face her, and while trying not to stare, I took note of her Goth-like appearance. Dressed completely in black, her makeup completed a look which was not common in Dallas; thin, pale and witchy.
"Wow", I looked up and saw two pairs of amber eyes peering down at me, "I'm going to switch to a telephoto lens."
After reaching in my bag for the lens, I turned to thank the woman but she was nowhere in sight.
The cemetery was large and completely flat, even if she had started running she could not have disappeared that quickly.
The only being left nearby was a black cat winding her way through the headstones. . .

I LOVE this story! And I love cemeteries, foxes, and black cats too!
Interesting about the foxes... almost like goats in trees in Morocco
